For your kind consideration is this vintage Slingerland 5.5x14 Deluxe Student Mode snare drum in Black Diamond Pearl from the 1960s. It's in excellent condition and all original aside from the heads and wires. The interior of this 3-ply shell is clean and the bearing edges look great. The wrap has very minimal wear and the seam lays flat. The original chrome Rim Shot stick saver hoops are in great condition with some light aging and the lugs look great. The original tone control is fully functional and the Rapid strainer operates smoothly. There are no extra holes or modifications. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic. This would be a great addition to any collection. Enjoy.
