For your viewing pleasure is this Slingerland 5.5x14 Special Student Model snare drum in deep blue sparkle wrap from the late 60s. This model last appeared in the 1967 catalog and this one features a 3-ply shell with clean chocolate milk interior. This 6-lug drum is all original down to the Slingerland Sound King heads and 12-strand wires. The original hardware is in excellent condition with very light aging. It's sporting a serialized Black & Brass Niles badge that is nice and tight. There are no extra holes or modifications. It tunes up wonderfully, displays well, and would be right at home in any great snare collection. Enjoy!
