For your viewing pleasure is this Slingerland 7x14 Student Model snare drum in blue lacquer finish. It has a 3-ply shell with a clean mahogany interior. The finish is in great condition with the beautiful checking that one would expect on a vintage lacquer. The original chrome hardware is all in beautiful condition with very light aging. It's sporting a gorgeous pre-serial Black & Brass Chicago badge and has an internal date stamp of AUG 2 1961. The Aquarian heads are in great condition and the original wires sound great as well. There's a little tape residue on the shell (see last pic). There are no extra holes or modifications. It tunes up wonderfully, displays beautifully, and would be right at home in any great snare collection or studio. Enjoy!
