For your kind consideration is this vintage Slingerland 5.5x14 Hollywood Ace snare drum in White Marine Pearl from the 1960s. It's in excellent condition and aside from the heads is all original including the wires. The light chocolate milk interior of this 3-ply shell is very clean. The wrap is in excellent condition and the seam lays flat. The original chrome over brass stick saver hoops are in great condition with on tiny din on the outer edge of the resonant hoop that can be felt more than seen. The Rapid strainer operates smoothly with the original wires as does the original tone control. There are no extra holes or modifications. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic. This would be a lovely addition to any collection. Enjoy.
