For your prime viewing pleasure is this stunning vintage Slingerland Stage Band drum set with matching 5.5x14 Deluxe Student Model snare in Black Diamond Pearl from the late '60s. The drums are all in in great condition with original chocolate milk interiors. As can be seen, this particular batch of diamond pearl wrap Slingerland had on hand when this set was originally wrapped was out of this world. Just a truly exceptional example of some of the nicest BDP pattern you'll ever see. Wrap is clean other than some tiny paint specs as shown being pointed to in pic. This 3-ply set is configured just as in the catalogs with a 13" tom and 14" floor tom with the 1288 shell mount tom holder prior to switching to the consolette rail in 1968. The snare drum is in overall great condition with just some light aging on the hoops and is all original aside from the heads and wires. The Rapid strainer and muffler operate smoothly. The hardware is in overall great condition on the set and all of the bearing edges are original. Most importantly, this set tunes up easily and sounds and looks fantastic. Enjoy!
