For your extreme viewing pleasure is this lovely vintage Sonor Teardrop drum set from the 1960s. It comes in a breathtaking Champagne Sparkle sparkle that shows a bit more pink under indoor lighting than it does in the natural outdoor lighting seen in the pics. This was a one owner set that was well cared for. The beech shells pack a beautiful musical punch and all of the drums are in good condition with light signs of age. Like on almost all of the snare drums of this era, the strainer functions perfectly but is missing the decorative cap. There is some typical darker spots in the wrap here and there that do not detract from the overall beauty of this set. They are all original including the tom arm, disappearing cymbal arm, and all of the Sonor logo drum heads. The hardware is clean overall and shows some signs of age including a few areas of light pitting/blistering most notably on the top 13" hoop, one of the push-button floor tom brackets, and the flor tom legs (one or two of which are not perfectly straight but still do the job). The bass drum has the original wood hoops, internal muffler, tom mount, and cymbal arm mount, and there is a small seam lift on the bottom as seen in last pic. They tune up like a dream and are incredibly fun and inspiring to play. Perfect for any Sonor lover. These would be equally at home amongst any great collection, studio, or stage. Enjoy!
