For your kind consideration is this vintage Zim-Gar 5.5x14 snare drum in Blue Sparkle. This 8-lug made in Japan drum was built by Pearl and features a thin vertical grain mahogany shell with reinforcement hoops. The Slingerland-style hoops and lugs are in very good condition with normal aging. The Gretsch micro-sensitive style strainer and adjustable butt end function smoothly with the original wires that are slightly bent, but sound great. The muffler is also fully functional. This is a really cool 8-lug snare that would be a great addition to any vintage collection. Enjoy!
