For your extreme viewing pleasure is this gorgeous vintage Fender Princeton combo amp dating to 1962. This Brownface beauty has the 6G2 circuit and is in overall wonderful condition and sounds fantastic. You can faintly see remnants of where the previous owner had marked their preferred setting in marker along the top on tolex. It has the original Oxford 1x10 speaker with date code 465-244 and original transformers with their respective date codes 606237 and 606248 as shown in photos and the amp itself is serial number P05111. It has a changed handle as is often seen, and appears to be all original otherwise. This beauty pushes 15 watts through two 6V6, two 12AX7 (or one 12AX7 and a 7025 as listed on the tube chart), and one 5Y3. The 5Y3 is a USA Philips, one of the 12AX7 is a USA Tung-Sol, and the other 12AX7 is a USA GE. This fixed bias amp delivers a wide range of tones from fat cleans to raw and crunchy tube overdrive and is famous for its smooth, lush bias shifting tremolo. There's a reason these amplifiers have been a favorite among musicians for decades. This would equally be at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, or stages. Enjoy!
