For your kind consideration is this vintage Slingerland No. 161 Deluxe Student Model 5.5x14 snare drum in vibrant Fiesta Pearl wrap. It's in great condition and is all original aside from the heads. It has a factory installed mounting bracket and was most likely originally part of a factory cocktail kit combo. This 6 lug model features a 3-ply maple shell, 673A Rapid strainer which is in great condition, chrome over brass Rim Shot triple flanged hoops, and a tone control. The interior shows some typical inner ply splits that are cosmetic in nature and do no affect the structural integrity in any way. It has an internal date stamp of JUN 1962. Most importantly it tunes up well and sounds great. A rare '60s snare in a fantastic finish that would be equally at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, or stages. Enjoy!
