For your supreme viewing pleasure is this excellent example of a 1963 5x14 Ludwig Super 400 chrome over brass Supraphonic snare drum. It features a pre-serial # Keystone badge, nice chrome-over-brass hoops with drop gate, red felt baseball bat muffler, crimped snare bed, heavy brass shell, nice P-83 strainer & butt, earlier heavy imperial lugs, and original heads and wires that still sound beautiful. There is a wear mark on the chrome in the panel to the right of the badge. The chrome over brass hoops have some minimal wear. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind, and the drum is in overall beautiful condition. This is a special instrument that tunes up like a champion and is beyond pure sonic bliss to play. Enjoy!
