For your viewing pleasure is this very rare example of an early Rogers 6.5″x14″ wood Dyna-Sonic snare drum in silver glass glitter. It is original in every way. It still has the coated Rogers script logo head on top & clear snare side Rogers script logo head on bottom. The original wrap is in great shape with no nicks, scratches, dings, puckering or seam lift. The chrome displays wonderfully. The clock-face strainer & butt plate operate flawlessly, as does the tone control. The tall-boy hoops look great, & are held on by all original tension rods & washers. The original bearing edges are true, & the original fruitwood interior is a site to behold. The Rogers script badge is held on by the original factory nails, which have not been touched or tampered with. As most Rogers enthusiasts know, the bread & butter style lugs were prone to stress cracks. This amazing example has ZERO stress cracks in any of the 10 gorgeous lugs. The beautiful early football shaped Dyna badge is sweet, serial # 24XX. This is indeed a rare and beautiful drum that would be right at home among the finest of collections.
