For your kind consideration is this player's vintage Ludwig 8x12 tom in Oyster Blue Pearl from the mid 60s. This tom would have been left-side, tom 1 on a Hollywood outfit. The shell is 3-ply with re-rings and a white interior. The wrap is very good condition with a flat, tight seam and some paint specks that could be removed with some TLC. The keystone badge is nice and tight with a serial number of 179XXX dating it to 1965. All original aside from the heads and the muffler is no longer present. There are no extra holes or modifications. There is an imperfection on the bottom bearing edge that's slightly dips and is a slightly out of round, that did not photograph well. It tunes up in the high range, but would benefit from a recut to tune lower. The top bearing edge is in round and tunes well. The nickel hardware has light aging, some light pitting on the steel hoops, the bottom hoop is not perfectly round, and one lug has a shallow one-inch gouge as shown. This would make a great addition to your '60s Ludwig outfit. Enjoy!
