For your viewing pleasure is this excellent 5x14 Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum built in 1965. This drum is 100% original including heads, wires, and rods. Although most Ludwigs had steel hoops by 1965, this one has beautiful original chrome over brass hoops making for a wonderful anomaly. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The P-83 strainer operates smoothly, as does the original baseball bat muffler. It is in fantastic condition. The chrome plating on the imperial lugs, hoops, baseball bat muffler, and wires is excellent. The beautiful keystone badge has serial # 144XXX. Most importantly, this well taken care of instrument tunes up like a champ and sounds incredible. Enjoy!
