For your viewing pleasure is this gorgeous Slingerland 8x12 tom built with Slingerland's legendary 3 ply maple interior shell (date stamped JAN 1965), and wrapped in their iconic Capri Pearl. The opal flakes used in the wrap are iridescent and give off hints of pink, purple and green. This drum has two extra holes under the diamond plate which are only visible from the interior of the drum when the heads are removed. The floor tom brackets are nice and function properly. The wrap is in beautiful shape with no splits or damage to speak of. It tunes up wonderfully and sounds amazing. Enjoy!
