For your viewing pleasure is this beautiful Ludwig 16x16 Oyster Blue Pearl keystone era floor tom. There is no date stamp inside, but the white interior 3 ply shell, along with the white felt baseball bat muffler and 408XXX serial # means this drum could be either a 1966 or 1967 build, and would be correct to pair with drums from either year. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind, and it's in great shape. There are no cracks or splits in the wrap, and the seam is flat and tight. Most of the tension rods on the bottom hoop are era correct Ludwig tension rods and work perfectly, but are slightly shorter than the originals on top hoop. The original hoops have nice chrome, the bottom hoop has a slight bend at one area, but goes on the collar of the head and drum like it is supposed to and tunes up great. There is some rust on the legs, but the overall chrome on the lugs and brackets is in great shape. The bearing edges are original and true. The baseball bat muffler is fully functional. Most importantly, this floor tom tunes up easily and sounds fantastic! Enjoy!
