For your prime viewing pleasure is this beautiful vintage Ludwig 5x14 Acrolite from the mid 1960s. It's in beautiful collector's condition with original heads and modern Ludwig wires. The keystone badge is nice and tight, with serial # 362XXX and it has an internal date stamp AUG 27 1966. The chrome over steel hoops are in great condition with minimal aging. The original chrome P-83 strainer is beautifully clean and fully functional as is the white felt baseball bat muffler. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic. Every snare drum collection needs a trusty vintage Acrolite, and this one sounds and looks particularly fabulous.
