For your prime viewing pleasure is this gorgeous vintage Ludwig 5x14 Acrolite from 1966 brought in by the original owner. It's in beautiful collector's clean condition with original heads and wires (bottom head has a small indentation, but still look great, tunes up perfectly, and sounds fantastic). The keystone badge is nice and tight, with serial # 308XXX. It has internal date stamp of FEB 26 1966. The chrome over steel hoops are in great condition. The original chrome P-83 strainer is beautifully clean and fully functional, as is the white felt baseball bat muffler. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic. Every snare drum collection needs a trusty vintage Acrolite, and this one sounds and looks particularly fabulous. This would easily and equally be at home amongst the finest of stages, studios, or collections.
