For your viewing pleasure is this beautiful vintage 5x14 Ludwig Supraphonic 400 snare drum from 1966. This drum is in excellent condition, with very minimal pitting or flaking on the shell and hoops. It is all original aside from the heads and has been well cared for with just light signs of age. The P-83 strainer operates smoothly, as does the original white felt baseball bat muffler. The original steel hoops and 10 Imperial lugs are in great condition with minimal signs of age. The keystone badge is nice and tight with serial # 378XXX and an internal date stamp of OCT 31 1966. Most importantly, this snare tunes up like a champ and sounds terrific with all the crisp, clear projection one would expect from a '60s Supra.
