For your prime viewing pleasure is this beautiful vintage 5x14 Ludwig Supraphonic 400 snare drum from mid-60s. This drum is super clean and in terrific condition. It is all original aside from the batter head and has been well cared for with the most minimal signs of wear. The P-83 strainer operates smoothly, as does the original white felt baseball bat muffler. The original chrome over brass hoops and 10 Imperial lugs are in excellent condition. The keystone badge is nice and tight with serial # 310XXX dating it to 1966 and there's an internal date stamp FEB 16 1966 that was stamped too close to the bead to read the last "6". Most importantly, this snare tunes up like a champ and sounds terrific with all the crisp, clear projection one would expect from a '60s Supra.
