The original Ludwig wires look and sound great. The original P-83 strainer and baseball bat muffler are in great shape and both operate smoothly. The original Oyster Black Pearl wrap is in beautiful well taken care of condition with no splits. The era correct heads look great and the top head is a new old stock 1960s Ludwig Weather Master, perfect for display or ready to play. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The keystone badge is nice and tight, with serial # 418XXX. All of the chrome is in beautiful condition and shows wonderfully. The bearing edges are true and original, and the drum tunes up easily and sounds magnificent. These snares are a joy to own, and make great investments.
