For your viewing pleasure is this excellent Ludwig Classic outfit in majestic black diamond pearl. There is a date stamp in the bass drum that reads Sep 21 1966. This original one owner set is in great well cared for condition with the exception of a cigarette burn on the side of the bass drum that was fixed with a small piece of perfectly matching 1960s black diamond pearl wrap that was glued over it. The bottom hoop on the tom has the original owners last name and social security # engraved, the bottom floor tom hoop has his initials and soc #, and 1 spur bracket on the bass drum has just his initials, but it is not very noticeable unless you are looking for it. The wrap is in great overall condition with flat seams, no splits, and minimal signs of age. The chrome is in good condition with some tiny light rust / oxidation specs here and there, but looks very good overall. The hoops are in good condition and look to have been neatly touched up with black paint. There are no extra holes or modifications and the set is in overall great condition. The bearing edges are true and original, and all drums tune up easily and sound wonderful. This set has all of the original heads, including the front logo bass head. This is a very beautiful and original set that sounds as great as it looks. Enjoy!
