For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Slingerland 3-ply 8 lug Artist Model snare in Light Blue Pearl wrap. It's in excellent condition with very light signs of age and is all original aside from the heads. The wrap is in great condition and the seam is tight and flat. The black & brass Niles badge is securely attached with serial number 585XX. The hoops are original chrome over brass stick savers and the rods are original. The Zoomatic throw off operates smoothly, as does the muffler. There are no extra holes and the bearing edges are true and original. There is one spot of cosmetic damage to the inner ply near one of the lugs as shown, on this other clean interior and it has an internal date stamp of "FEB 66". Most importantly, it tunes up wonderfully and is an absolute joy to play. Enjoy!
