For your prime viewing pleasure is this vintage Slingerland 3-ply 8 lug Artist Model snare in scarcely seen Red Ripple Pearl wrap. This gorgeous wrap is clean with minimal signs of age and the seam is flat and tight. It's all original aside from the heads. The chrome over brass stick saver hoops are beautiful. The Zoomatic throw off operates smoothly, as does the muffler. The original bearing edges are in overall great condition, there is a section on the resonant side that has a little wood missing from the factory judging by the appearance. The heads make full contact with the shell and it does not affect the tone or tuning in any way. There are no extra holes or modifications. The interior is clean with internal date stamp of FEB 66. The Black & Brass Niles badge is securely attached. Most importantly, it tunes up wonderfully and is an absolute joy to play. Enjoy!
