For your extreme viewing pleasure is this outstanding 1967 Ludwig Club Date outfit in closet classic collectors condition. The intensely clean champagne sparkle wrap looks undeniably amazing and clean with no damage. There are no extra holes, and the bearing edges are original and true. All of the Ludwig Weather Master heads are beautiful and appear to be original. The 14x20 bass drum, 8x12 tom, and 14x14 floor tom all have matching internal date stamps of OCT 5 1967 and close serial #'s. The bass drum and floor tom both have gorgeous keystone badges with 458XXX serial #s. The 12" tom has an equally gorgeous keystone badge with serial # 457XXX. The fabulous 5x14 matching Pioneer snare drum does not have a date stamp, and has keystone serial # 233XXX which would date the snare closer to late 1965. All of the drums have original tension rods and washers, and the snare drum also has the original wires. Although the snare drum was probably not matched from the factory since they have a date gap, it is safe to assume that the snare was originally purchased from the store with the set when new since the shade of the wrap and the condition matches perfectly. Most importantly, this set tunes up wonderfully and is an absolute pleasure to play. Enjoy!
