For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig 5x14 Acrolite from the mid-1960s. It's in excellent condition with only very light wear. Aside from the older Remo Diplomat batter head, this drum is all original including the plastic end wires. The original chrome over steel hoops are in great condition with minimal aging. The original chrome P-83 strainer is clean and fully functional, as is the white felt baseball bat muffler. The keystone badge is nice and tight with serial # 493XXX. It has an internal date stamp of JUL 6 1967. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic! No serious drummer's or studio's snare drum collection is complete without a trusty vintage Acrolite, and this one sounds and looks particularly wonderful. Enjoy!
