For your prime viewing pleasure is this beautiful 1967 Ludwig Super Classic outfit in classic Sky Blue Pearl. It's all original and in excellent condition. The original hoops are in great shape overall with minimal aging and just a bit of chrome loss on the 16" batter side hoop. The rest of the hardware has aged well with only very light oxidation here and there, primarily on the rail mount. The white baseball bat mufflers are present and function smoothly. The wrap looks lovely and has minimal wear as well. The white interiors show MAR 6 and MAR 7 1967 date stamps and the keystone badges are securely attached. The bass drum has 4 holes that have been expertly filled and capped with original vintage sky blue pearl by Jim Moritz of Chicago Drum where a second rail mount had previously been installed. There are no other extra holes or modifications. The bearing edges are true and original and modern heads fit well with the 16" resonant side being slightly snug but tunes up perfectly. The front bass drum head is the original Ludwig logo head! Most importantly, it tunes up wonderfully and is an absolute pleasure to play with a massive sound that's instantly recognizable to the ear.
