For your prime viewing pleasure is this gorgeous vintage Ludwig 5x14 Supraphonic 400 snare drum from the late 1960s that was owned and played by our friend, legendary drummer and author Zoro, who personally signed the batter head on the day he presented it to us. This drum is in excellent condition, with none of the pitting or flaking often seen on the seamless Acousti-Perfect aluminum shells. It's all original aside from the heads, and has been lovingly cared for with only light signs of age and wear. The P-83 strainer operates smoothly, as does the original large round knob muffler. The original 10 Imperial lugs are in great condition with minimal signs of age. The keystone badge is nice and tight with serial # 641XXX, and an internal date stamp of AUG 27 1968. Most importantly, this snare tunes up like a champ and sounds beyond terrific with all the crisp, clear projection one would expect from a '60s Supra. Enjoy!
