For your viewing pleasure is this great example of a 1969 5x14 Ludwig Acrolite snare drum. You can see in the last picture that the inside of the shell is date stamped AUG 25 1969. The keystone badge is in nice condition and is tight. It has a six digit serial number 745XXX and still retains the original tension rods. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind, and it's in overall good cosmetic condition with a few small scratches on the shell, and an area of chrome loss / rust on the top rim. No serious drummer's or studio's snare drum arsenal is complete without a trusty vintage Acrolite, and this one sounds really great. Enjoy!
