For your viewing pleasure is this excellent example of a vintage 5x14 Ludwig Acrolite snare drum. It's in overall great condition with surface scratches here and there as shown. Aside from the batter head, it's all original down to the wires. There are no dents or extra holes in the shell. The original hoops look great with some light signs of wear and age. The original P-85 strainer operates smoothly, as does the rotary muffler. The internal date stamp reads AUG 21 1970, and it's sporting a pre "R" pointy Blue & Olive badge with serial number 791XXX. Most importantly, this drum tunes up like an absolute champ and sounds amazing. Enjoy!
