For your kind consideration is this rare massive vintage Ludwig set in Black Cortex from the 1970s. This thunderous set features 3-ply shells with clear maple interiors on the toms and a Granitone interior on the bass drum. All of the drums are in very good condition with modest play wear and the 15" rack tom has some marks near the tom mount. Both toms have their mufflers removed. The bass drum has four original curved spurs and the hardware on all the drums looks good displaying light aging. The floor tom legs are replacements. They all have pointy Blue & Olive badges that are securely attached with a bit of lift on the bass drum badge. The seams on the wrap are flat and secure. There are no extra holes or modifications and the bearing edges are original. Most importantly, it tunes up well with modern heads and sounds fantastically huge and powerful.
