For your prime viewing pleasure is this awesome vintage Ludwig 5x14 Jazz Festival snare drum in Blue Sparkle from the early '70s. This 3-ply, clear interior drum is all original aside from newer Ludwig Weathermaster & Rocker heads. The original P-85 strainer is in great shape and operates smoothly with the original plastic end wires. The muffler is present and fully functional. The wrap is in beautiful, well taken care of condition and all of the chrome is in great condition with very light signs of wear. The bearing edges are true and original, and the drum tunes up easily and sounds magnificent. The pointy Blue & Olive badge with 6-digit serial 945XXX is flat and tight with two letters engraved on it. There are no extra holes or modifications. Aside from glue residue as shown, the interior is clean. This one is a joy to play and would be a proud addition to any vintage collection. Enjoy!
