The exterior was painted black and the finish is in great condition. The original P-70 Super Sensitive strainer operates smoothly, as does the tone control. All 10 Imperial lugs, the tension rods, and washers are original, as well as the hoops which are in great condition with light signs of age. The pointy B&O badge has 6 digit serial # 998XXX. Most importantly, this drum tunes up like a champ and sounds absolutely fantastic.
