For your prime consideration is this vintage Ludwig No. 989P Big Beat outfit in Mahogany Cortex. This 3-ply drum set with Granitone interiors is in superb condition.
There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind, and the edges are true and original. Aside from the heads, it's all original down to the hoops, tension rods, lugs, and double tom mount. There is an ever so slight cosmetic bend at the very top of the the 13" tom bottom hoop that does not affect the tuning or the fit of the head in any way, and is almost not worth mentioning. The floor tom shows a minuscule amount of seam lift.
Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic and bombastic. Enjoy!
