For your prime viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig Big Beat outfit in Psychedelic Red from the '70s. This is the very cool and rarely seen second (darker) version of Psychedelic Red, and the greens show vibrantly. This 3-ply drum set has mixed clear maple and Granitone interiors and is in great condition with just a few issues with the wrap as shown in pics. There is a split in the wrap on the 16" floor tom as shown, the seam has separated but lays flat, and the bottom side head fits snug but tunes up good. The 12" tom has extra holes where a clip mount was installed at one time which are covered by the existing mount and some numbers etched into the badge. There are no other extra holes or modifications of any kind. The edges are true and original. Aside from the heads, it's all original down to the hoops, tension rods, lugs, and double tom mount. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic and bombastic and is ready to take the stage. Enjoy!
