For your viewing pleasure we have an extremely rare 1970s silver badge Ludwig 5x14 Supraphonic snare drum. The almost never seen silver badge is original and it's widely accepted by Ludwig enthusiasts that these were used on custom orders and prototypes, and commonly have hand engraved, or no serial #'s. This drum originally came with a Blue Silk Quadra Plus outfit in which all of the drums have the rare silver badges as well, please see our other listings to view the set. It's in great condition with some mild typical pitting, an overall great example. The strainer and muffler both operate smoothly. There are no extra holes or modifications, and it's all original except for the heads. It tunes up like a champ and sounds amazing! (This is the snare used in the video below.)
