1970s Ludwig Silver Badge Quadra Plus 3 Ply Drum Set Blue Silk 22/13/14/15/16/18

For your consideration is this once in a life time opportunity to own an ultra rare special order 1970s silver badge Ludwig Quadra Plus drum set. The seldom seen Blue Silk wrap is intensely beautiful, memorably unique, and in outstanding clean condition.  The almost never seen silver badges are original and it's widely accepted by Ludwig enthusiasts that these were used on custom orders and prototypes, and commonly have hand engraved, or no serial #'s.  The shells are all 3 ply maple with clear interiors. The set is 100% original with exception of some heads and the two commonly changed tension rods on the bottom of the batter side of bass drum where the bass pedal attaches.  The wrap is in extraordinarily clean condition, free from damage and flaws, with the set as a whole being in collectors clean condition.  As is commonplace for silk wraps, there is a slight lift at the seam on the 15", 16", 18", and 22".  It looks fantastic as is, but seams can be glued back down.  There is a very small, very shallow, inconsequential bump on the resonant side edge of the bass drum that's hardly worth mentioning, is merely cosmetic in nature, and does not affect the sound or integrity of the drum in the least bit.
