For your viewing delight is this stunning vintage Ludwig Stainless Steel Big Beat drum set from the '70s. It's in terrific very well cared for condition and it displays beautifully with minimal play wear. It does not have the commonly seen dings and dents typically seen with vintage Ludwig stainless steel drums. There are a couple of incidental scratches on the floor tom and bass drum, but nothing compared to the scratches seen on the grand majority of '70s stainless steel sets and it displays magnificently. These are fantastically loud and clear, with a powerful projection that would make Thor's hammer jealous. It's all original aside from the heads and tunes up with the greatest of ease. The hardware has aged well and the pointy Blue & Olive badges are nice and tight. This set would equally be at home amongst the finest of studios, stages, or collections.
