For your kind consideration is this vintage Ludwig Standard 14x22 bass drum shell in Lemon Strata from the 1970s. It has an internal date stamp of OCT 30 1970. This is made with the same exact 3 ply shell as the other Ludwig lines of the time. Many attribute the lightweight / lower mass lugs to improved resonance and tone.
The shell is in overall excellent condition with no extra holes or modifications. This is a virgin bass drum with no center post mount or rail consolette. The bearing edges are in great condition. The wrap is clean and the seams are flat. The chrome hardware has some aging, and one of the hoops shows some aging as well. Enjoy!
