1970s Ludwig Standard Drum Set Ruby Red Strata 22/12/13/16

For your prime consideration is this beautiful set of Ludwig Standards in Ruby Red Strata. If you are reading this, then you probably know that these vintage Ludwig Standard drums are made from the same exact 3-ply shells as their Classic series siblings, with the only difference being the lighter weight hardware, which is known to increase the resonance of the shells due to less metal mass-to-surface contact, and certainly makes them easier to transport. There is some pinpoint pitting on some of the chrome and light oxidation in a few places. They are all original, and there are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. There is an internal date stamp of DEC 30 1970. The set looks great and the wrap is in excellent overall condition with just some very light marks here and there. There is a small chip in the wrap near the bass drum seam that can't be seen when heads and hoops are installed. All of the edges are true and original. All of the mufflers are present and fully functional. Most importantly, this set tunes up wonderfully and is an absolute pleasure to play and view. Enjoy!
