For your kind consideration is this vintage Olympic 5.5x14 Model 1025 steel snare drum made by Premier in the 1970s. It's in great condition aside from some light signs of age, and is otherwise very clean. This rare steel shell snare drum was only offered in the US and never marketed in the UK. Unlike the more common 1005, this 1025 sports 10 lugs instead of 8. It is also sporting the 642 strainer that was used on Premier's 10 Lug series, instead of the usual 1636 strainer found on Olympic models, and it is fully functional and just a fantastic strainer. The original muffler is present and operates smoothly as well. This is a fantastic sounding steel snare at a great price and a cool piece of Premier history. Enjoy!
