For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Premier 5.5x14 Hi-Fi snare drum from the early '70s. This drum has been well cared for and has minimal aging on the shell and hardware. It's all original aside from the heads and wires, and there are no extra holes or modifications. The Hi-Fi models were designed to offer all the same features of the 2000 snares, but with a traditional throw-off instead of the parallel mechanism. The strainer is in excellent condition and operates smoothly, as does the internal muffler. The original slotted tension rods are also in great condition and it tunes up perfectly with the die cast hoops. This snare would be right at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, or stage. Enjoy!
