For your viewing pleasure is this somewhat rare chrome over brass 1970's Slingerland 10-Lug Gene Krupa 6.5x14 Sound King snare drum. These get our vote for being the most undervalued power house vintage snare drums on the planet. It has an amazing heavy brass shell which has a wonderfully warm yet commanding sonic signature. The chrome on this drum is strong and shows well with only a few small marks. The Zoomatic strainer works smoothly and looks great. There are no extra holes or modifications. The drum is 100% original with exception of heads. Original Slingerland wires. The original muffler looks good and is fully functional. The black and silver Niles badge looks great and is nice and tight, serial # 331XXX. Most importantly, this drum sounds amazing and tunes up with the greatest of ease. Enjoy!
