For your kind consideration is this vintage Yamaha SD-5 5x14 snare drum from the early '70s. This 8-lug snare is in overall great condition, and was rewrapped in the chrome wrap which shows the majority of the wear. It is otherwise original aside from the heads and wires. The shell has a clean painted interior and it is sporting the early 1970s Y badge. The lugs are in great shape and the hoops have some signs of wear and use. The snare strainer arm is bent, but fully function. When it was rewrapped, the previous owner removed the muffler and the holes for it remain under the wrap if you wanted to reinstall one. There are no extra holes or other modifications and the bearing edges are true and original. Most importantly this set tunes up with ease and sounds great. Enjoy!
