For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig Standard 5x14 snare drum in stunning Gold Strata. This 8 lug beauty has the same exact 3 ply shell and construction as a Jazz Fest, with the only difference being the badge and lightweight / lower mass lugs, which many attribute to improved resonance and tone. It's in excellent condition, and the strainer and muffler both work smoothly. Aside from the heads and wires, it's all original. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The factory label inside dates this drum to MAY 26 1971. Most importantly this drum tunes up like a champ and sounds phenomenal. Enjoy!
