For your viewing pleasure is this 1979-80 5x14 Ludwig Acrolite snare drum. The rounded blue and olive badge is in good condition and is tight. It has a seven digit serial number 2166XXX. All of the tension rods are original, and it has the Ludwig chrome wires. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The drum is in overall good shape. The P-85 strainers is in good shape and operates smoothly. There is a slight cosmetic bend in one area of the top rim from being bumped, but the rim is round and tunes up perfectly. No serious drummer's or studio's snare drum arsenal is complete without a trusty vintage Acrolite, and this one sounds great. Enjoy!
