For your viewing pleasure is this original vintage Tama Imperialstar 6.5x14 Mastercraft 8056 Steel snare drum made in Japan in the early 80s. It's in great condition overall and sounds huge! These heavy seamless steel shells with their precision rolled 2mm radius bearing edge have become iconic with this model reissued as part of Tama's 50th Anniversary Mastercraft series. This vintage drum has light signs of age and use as shown and is all original aside from the heads and wires. The original PC die cast hoops are in overall great condition with pinpoint pitting as shown. The original RB Roller Bed strainer works smoothly. The One Touch tone control is present, fully functional, and a great example of this innovate design. There are no extra holes or modifications and the Imperialstar badge is nice and tight. Most importantly it tunes up easily with a clean, bright attack with clear and crisp resonance these snares are revered for. Why spend $799 on a reissue Tama 8056 when you can get this original vintage one at a fraction of the price. Enjoy!
