For your prime viewing pleasure is this vintage Premier Resonator drum set in natural Super Birchwood from the 1970s. It's in excellent condition, and is all original down to the heads and slotted tension rods. The finish has some beautiful checking that vintage lacquer is known to do, and the internal mufflers show some weathering on their unplated surface. What makes Resonators unique is the patented floating 2-ply inner birch shell that fits inside the birch shell and rests against the beech support rings. The resonators can also be removed to change the tone of the drums. This design produces a full, deep sound with fewer high overtones. The resonators themselves are all present and in excellent condition. The chrome on the lugs and hoops displays well with very light signs of age. There are no extra holes or modifications. Sets like this in these sizes, finish, and condition do not come up often in the states, so seize the moment!
