For your prime consideration is this vintage Martin Shenandoah HD-2832 6-string acoustic guitar in Natural finish from the mid 1980s. The serial number dates this to 1986. This guitar is in excellent condition with just some normal light surface scratches and some light dings here and there as expected from a nearly 40 year old acoustic guitar. The Shenandoah line, introduced in 1984, used parts made in Japan that were assembled at Martin's Nazareth factory allowing them to offer a slightly more affordable model. The sound is nothing short of classic Martin goodness, and it has a fresh set of strings installed. This guitar features a solid spruce top with scalloped bracing, laminated rosewood back & sides, and a rosewood bridge. The comfortable 14-fret V-shaped neck has a rosewood fingerboard with a 1-11/16" nut width and an adjustable truss rod. It is setup with a medium action measuring approximately .09" at the 12th fret and it tunes up easily and sounds wonderful with a big, warm tone. The Thinline 332 passive acoustic pickup is fully functional and sounds great. Weighs in at 4 lbs 12 oz. Comes with a hardshell case. Enjoy!
