For your kind consideration is this rarely seen vintage Yamaha CS-955 heavy weight double braced cymbal stand with counterweight as shown in the 1992 Japan edition catalog. This red label era stand was made in Japan and is in great overall condition with some normal light dents in the tubing here and there from gigging and all original memory locks, felts, and wing nuts. These were designed for the rock scene of the time and can hold the largest cymbal with ease thanks to the 1.7 kg (3.75 lb) counterweight. The tilter uses the same aluminum die-cast clamp found on their Super Rack System that is both extremely secure when tightened and easy to remove and change positions with. The straight, wide legs offer additional stability with their extra wide stance. The stand has a listed height adjustment of 32" to 57" with the boom extending from 24" to 40" from the end of the clamp to the center of the tilter.
