For your kind consideration is this rare Mapex 5.5x14 Carmine Appice Signature brass snare drum released at winter NAMM in 1996. This uncatalogued snare is serial number 114 out of the limited run of 175 that were made.  It's in great condition with light signs of wear on the polished brass exterior of the seamless shell. Aside from the batter head, this is all original down to the gold/brass snare wires and Mapex snare side head. The chrome Mapex Twin-Cam strainer is original and fully functional as are the gold plated low-mass oval lugs and 2.3mm Powerhoops with the drop gates which show very light signs of age. This snare sounds fantastic and tunes up like a champ. Whether you're a Carmine fan, love Mapex, or just want a killer brass snare that's different from the rest, this will be an awesome and unique addition to your snare drum collection. Enjoy!
